[00:00:00] Member Pat Showalter: Body to the NoFA, July 25th meeting. And, um, I would like, particularly to welcome Deanna, who is, um, new to the city of Mountain View, and will be taking over Vera Gill's shoes. I have to Vergil's job. And I have to say, um, that is, uh, That's a very challenging thing. Vera has a tremendous amount of institutional knowledge on affordable housing. And as one of the reasons why, the big reasons why Mountain View has been so successful over the years, because we have had, you know, really expert staff who knew how to get things done and did get things done. So thank you so much for that, Vera. And, um, we will miss you. And we really appreciate you coming back and helping for a few months because, you know, that, that's been important too. Okay, so with that, um, I think it's time to have roll call. Okay.

[00:01:13] Deanna: Um, committee member Margaret Abby Koga. Is absent.

[00:01:19] Member Pat Showalter: Okay. Well, we do have a quorum, so we can do business. That's good. Well, the next order of business is to approve the minutes. Um, and, um, we have all been, uh, given the minutes and given an opportunity to read them. Is there any, are there any members of the public that wish to comment on the minutes? Do you see anybody, Dana?

[00:01:44] Deanna: We have one member of the public. No comments. Okay. No raised hands. Great.

[00:01:50] Member Pat Showalter: All right. So, um, uh, can I have a uh, motion to approve the minutes?

[00:01:57] Member Alison Hicks: I move to approve the minutes.

[00:01:59] Member Pat Showalter: Okay, I 2nd that. Um, And I don't have any comments on the minutes. Do you, uh, counsel Vice Mayor Hicks?

[00:02:10] Member Alison Hicks: No, I don't.

[00:02:11] Member Pat Showalter: Okay, so, um, uh, Should we

[00:02:16] Deanna: have a roll call for the minutes? Sure. Committee member Alison Hicks.

[00:02:22] Member Alison Hicks: Yes.

[00:02:24] Deanna: Chair Pat Schoalter.

[00:02:25] Member Pat Showalter: Yes. Okay. And then we come, so so the minutes are approved. Um, and uh, we move on to the consent calendar. Which has basically one item on it and uh, do we have any report on that?

[00:02:44] Deanna: I can give you a brief report. Um, resolution AB 361 is um, required so that this body may meet virtually for the next 30 days. This would allow the NoFA committee to meet virtually next month for the August 18th meeting.

[00:03:03] Member Pat Showalter: Okay. Um, Well, that seems fairly straightforward to me. I don't have any questions. Allison, do you have any questions? Um,

[00:03:13] Member Alison Hicks: my only question is whether there's anything, if I were to make a motion, is there anything specific that I would need to read?

[00:03:23] Deanna: Um, I think you would just read the recommendation. Um, which adopts the resolution. Okay. You have the staff report handy?

[00:03:36] Member Alison Hicks: No, so I mean, I can get it handy or you could also share it, would be the other. Oh, I could just go ahead and I can make the motion. Yeah, I'll make commotion. Okay. I move that we adopt a resolution of the No for review committee of the city of Mountain View. Making findings, authorizing continued remote teleconference meetings of the Nova Review Committee, pursuant to the Brown Act provisions, as amended by Assembly Bill, 361 to be read in title only, further reading wave, attachment one to this memorandum.

[00:04:08] Member Pat Showalter: Okay. So I 2nd that motion? All right. Again, is there any public comment related to that?

[00:04:17] Deanna: I see no raised hands and I've received no public comment.

[00:04:21] Member Pat Showalter: Okay, all right. Well, then we definitely should have a roll call on this one. Let's vote. Great.

[00:04:29] Member Alison Hicks: Yes.

[00:04:30] Deanna: Chair Pat Shilalter.

[00:04:32] Member Pat Showalter: Yes. Okay, so the motion passes. Um, and, uh, Then we moved town to oral communications from the public. I understand that we do have one member of the public with us. Would that would that person like to speak to us?

[00:04:52] Deanna: I see no raised hands and I've received no public comments. Okay.

[00:04:57] Member Pat Showalter: All right, well then we can move to, um, item 6, which is committee staff comments, questions or committee reports. Um, Do we have any committee reports or staff comments?

[00:05:10] Deanna: No, the only staff comment I have is that this body will meet next on oct- I'm sorry, August 18th. Um, to hear a presentation, um, for a NoFA applicant. Um, this will be Vera's final meeting with us and so I just wanted to highlight that and uh, publicly say as a matter matter of public record that I have been very happy to have her mentorship over the past few months and I look forward to working with this body. Great.

[00:05:40] Member Pat Showalter: Okay, is there going to be any party or have you already had the party, Vera?

[00:05:45] Deanna: No, we'll probably send the invitations offline. We will look for them. Okay. Um,
