1. CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT (OPEN SESSION)
[00:01:51] Vice Mayor Chris Clark: Right, good morning everyone. It's uh, October 9th, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. Um, I am making a closed session announcement on behalf of my colleagues.
[00:02:03] Vice Mayor Chris Clark: Good morning everyone. Um, today the council will meet in closed session to consider public employee appointment pursuant to California Government Code section 54957(b)(1) for City Attorney candidate interviews.
[00:02:18] Vice Mayor Chris Clark: Would any member of the public joining us virtually or in person like to provide comment on the closed session agenda? If so, please click the raise hand in Zoom or submit a blue speaker card to the City Clerk. We will take in-person speakers first.
[00:02:30] Vice Mayor Chris Clark: I don't see anyone here in person. Is there anyone online? I don't see anyone there either.
[00:02:39] Vice Mayor Chris Clark: Um, so I'll close public comment and the council will now recess to the Ameswell Hotel for the closed session and will not return today to open session for adjournment. No closed session announcement is anticipated. Thank you.
