[00:00:00] Mayor Alison Hicks: Good evening, everyone. Thank you for joining us for our closed session. City attorney, Jennifer Logue. We make a closed session announcement, and then city council welcomes public comments on the closed session.

[00:00:34] Councilmember Ellen Kamei: Great, thank you, Mayor. Pursuant to government code section 54953. I am participating in this meeting remotely through both audio and visual technology, under the just cause provision, due to a child careney that prevents me from attending in person. No other persons over 18 years of age are present in this remote location with me. Thank you.
[00:00:58] Mayor Alison Hicks: Thank you. Now, city attorney Jennifer Logue will make a closed session announcement, and then the city council welcomes public comment on the closed session.
[00:01:11] City Attorney Jennifer Logue: Thank you, mayor and council members. This is Jennifer Logue, city attorney for the city of Mountain View. There are 2 items on this evening's closed session agenda. Item 2.one is public employee performance evaluations pursuant to California government code section 54957 for the city manager and the city clerk. Item 2.2, which was going to be a conference with labor negotiators pursuant to California government code section 54957.6, is being pulled from the agenda and will be rescheduled for a future date. Because city council will not be taking any final reportable action in closed session this evening. City council will not return to open session following closed session for a report. Thank you.
[00:01:57] Mayor Alison Hicks: Thank you. Now is the time when members of the public, joining us either virtually or in person, can provide comment on the closed session agenda. So, the council will now recess to the plaza conference room for closed session and will not return to openness session for adjournment.
